Complaints Received by the TCW

According to the complaints received by the Commission, crime rates are not uniformly high all over the State. Chart 2, which gives the rates of crime against women of Tripura disaggregated at the district level shows that there were considerable variations in the crime rates across the different districts of Tripura. Largest proportion of complaints relate to crimes against women was received from West District of Tripura followed by South Tripura District during the period under report. Lowest proportion of complaints regarding atrocities on women was received from Dhalai District followed by North Tripura during the year.
