Though the responsibility of putting in place infrastructure has been vested with State Governments, one cannot loose sight of the fact that the PWDVA is a Central Law. The Centre has a duty in the federal structure to make an adequate budget available to the States for the purpose of implementation of this law;

A serious initiative may be taken by the concerned Department for implementation of The Tripura Recording of Marriage Act, 2003 and massive awareness generation regarding the necessity of recording of marriages may be started throughout the State;
